Bio

Rick grew up in Ojai California.  During the summer of his 13th year his mother told him he should take guitar lessons since he was always complaining he was bored.  This was the beginning of a lifelong addiction to playing music as well as a serious case of G.A.S. (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome).  In high school he sang in the choir as well as played upright bass in various school projects.

While studying at Grossmont, Southwestern and the University of California, San Diego Rick studied general music, electronic music and recording engineering as well as learning to play keyboards.  He has a B.A. in History (another passion) with a music minor from the University of California, San Diego.

Rick has performed with multiple musical groups in the past.  Currently is doing a solo act and recording.  He performs at restaurants/pubs, festivals, charity events, farmer’s markets and occasionally will do some busking.
